Find Your Furry Soulmate at Jodie's Retired Greyhounds

Lucas is a real sweetheart. He loves to meet everyone. He walks beautifully on the lead. He recently got returned after 10 months due to unforeseen change in circumstances. 

Lucas is great with children and loves all and any affection. He loves to explore new places and walk with his friends. Lucas loves his greyhound friends but would live with another medium sized dog (depending on introductions), he has always been kind to his kennel mates and other dogs he’s interacted with!

Barney has so much love for the world. He can’t wait to be adopted and go on adventures with his new family. He is very active despite being the oldest dog in our care right now. He'd really like to join active family. He does have a high chase drive and can be strong on the lead so needs someone who can continue his training. He's been learning lots since coming to us and has come on leaps and bounds. He loves all people and children but cannot live with small dogs, small furries or cats.

Teddy is a happy, playful boy who is a quick learner. He's adjusted well since joining us to begin his retirement. Teddy can be excitable but is learning quickly how to react to exciting stimulation. He is already walking much better on the lead and has started meeting other medium to large sized dogs. Teddy needs support to manage his introductions without becoming overexcited but he has so much happiness to offer. Teddy loves people and children, but cannot be homed with small furries or cats.

Ozzy is a happy and enthusiastic boy with so much love to offer. He likes to play, run and especially loves giving cuddles. He enjoys his walks and exploring new places. He does sometimes get excitable when he sees small furries but is responding well to training. He will happily live with another greyhound, walks well with other medium dogs but is still working on his excitement with small dogs. He cannot live with cats or small furries.

Socks is a very sweet and playful girl who would love a family to adventure with. She loves her walks and exploring new places. She loves people both adults and children. Socks can live with other greyhounds or medium to large dogs but is still learning about smaller dogs. She walks generally well on the lead but can still get excited when seeing small furries. Socks cannot live with cats or small children.

Maya is an affectionate and playful girl but definitely needs princess treatment. She knows her own mind and also how beautiful she is. Definitely not a modest lady. She loves to soak up all the attention and fuss. She likes her walks but prefers a gentle stroll so she can explore the world through her nose. She enjoys attention from children we’ve met them but prefers slightly older ones. Maya can live with other greyhounds and med-large dogs. Cannot live with small dogs, cats or small furries.

Whisper is a young, happy and playful girl who has been loving all the new adventures retired life has enlightened her to. She is happy living with other greyhounds and has been introduced to other medium and large dogs which is going well so far. She loves people and older children but can be a bit too excitable around younger children. She cannot live with small dogs, cats or small furries.
